Comprised of consumers, small businesses, trade groups and associations, Californians for Smart Energy is dedicated to having a real discussion about meeting California’s energy needs – without job-killing regulations that are harmful to California’s economy. More about us »

Have you heard? As outlandish as it sounds, the California Energy Commission (CEC) plans to adopt regulations that will ban the sale of hundreds of popular big-screen televisions in California. These regulations are estimated to destroy 4,000 jobs and cost the state $47 million a year in lost tax revenues

Alternatives exist, and Californians deserve more. We firmly believe in the importance of energy efficiency, and we urge the state to purse energy efficiency that won't unduly hurt small business, consumers and hard-working families.

Your voice matters. Please, JOIN OUR COALITION to help enact commonsense solutions to California’s energy challenges while protecting California jobs.
